Sending thanks today to Carl Logan of Midwest Book Review for his kind review of Scent of Triumph!

Here’s his book review, freshly published: “When you lose everything, one must embrace. “Scent of Triumph” follows the struggles of Danielle Bretancourt von Hoffman, who following the Second World War finds to find her place in society, and finds her talent of identifying any scent on her own; she uses those talents to build her way up through the fashion world and Hollywood. Drawing heavily on the author’s own experience, “Scent of Triumph” has a dedicated look into the history of the world of fashion, recommended.”

Thanks to the Midwest Book Review and all the staff and volunteer reviewers for the super job they do for the literary community! They’ve been doing a great service since 1976.

A quick update on Scent of Triumph: There are a limited number of print book copies available through holiday, so be sure to order early! This month it also debuts on Nook, Kobo, iPad, Sony Reader, and in many other ebook formats. And it’s available in print and on Kindle wherever Amazon sells throughout the world.

Thank you to everyone who has left a nice book review on Amazon, Goodreads, and LibraryThing. It really matters to writers (and to the agents who might be looking.) Keep ’em coming!

I’m off to work again for the day, and making great progress on the first book of the new book series. I’ll unveil it here soon…can’t wait to share it with you!
